Membership Renewal / Sign-Up

2009 / 2010 Membership Fees

Membership with the Disabled Skiers Association of BC is for the period of October 1st – September 30th and is non-refundable.

Volunteers, Guides & Assistants:
$40.00 (CAD)
Alpine Skiers and Snowboarders with a disability: $45.00 (CAD)

Includes membership to both DSABC and our national organization: CADS (Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing)

Your membership is required for participation in any lesson or event either goverened or sanctioned by DSABC or CADS; this includes but is not limited to lessons, on-hill instruction, recreational events or races, high performance training or racing including Provincial Championships, as well as other various events or activities from time to time. 

Again this year, we have joined forces with the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS) to distribute a combined membership card. You will now receive only one membership card that is valid for both your DSABC and CADS Membership.

By becoming a member of the Disabled Skiers association of BC you will be

- Supporting the organization and volunteers that have supported your athletic development; because
- DSABC provides ongoing liaison and advocacy for skiers with disabilities to mountains, to improve opportunities and discounts available to members throughout the province;, and you will receive
- Special rates and discounts on lessons and lift tickets at participating mountains throughout the province; you will have
- Access to DSABC “Athlete Assistance Fund” to help cover your costs of activities relating to participation in snow sports competition; you will have
- Access to high performance athlete development programs and opportunity to compete at provincial events – improving your ski skills, overall health, quality of life, and potentially achieving personal excellence
